PhotoCraft in the browser: the official web build
The PhotoCraft README says the app compiles to WebAssembly. Release v0.8.2 includes a browser zip. Other sites using the name are not that official build, and this site does not host it.
We read the official notes on 2026-10-13. The steps below are checks you can try. We have not installed the app or reviewed it for safety.
There is an official browser build
The PhotoCraft README says the engine and interface compile to WebAssembly and run in a browser. It points to Docker notes for people who want to host that build. Release v0.8.2, checked on 2026-10-13, includes photocraft-web-0.8.2.zip. The README describes that zip as a browser build you can place on a static server. This site does not run that server.
Use the official names, not a look-alike site
The official app page is getartcraft.com/apps/photocraft, and the repository is storytold/photocraft. A site that only resembles the name PhotoCraft is not that release. The desktop files are listed on the download page. The web zip is a separate file in the same GitHub release.
PhotoCraft download: official files and installationWhen the browser build is the wrong tool
If you need a signed desktop installer, use the download page instead of the web zip. If a page asks you to upload a private PSD to a domain that is not getartcraft.com or github.com/storytold, stop. This site has not used the browser build.
